Beyond the workplace, the people of Shepherd Chemical care deeply about creating value and brightening lives in our local communities and society at large. We regularly volunteer to teach chemistry lessons at local high schools, serve nonprofits with financial donations, and invite college students to learn about the chemical industry through robust internships and cooperative education opportunities.
We serve Norwood, our neighborhood since 1916, through ongoing generosity like providing resources and scholarships to schools as well as timeless gifts like planting 100 trees around the city in honor of our centennial.
