Description

Cobalt 21 is used as a polyester initiator, “feeder drier,” accelerator and catalyst. It is also used in pre-promoted and Unsaturated Polyester Resins. Unsaturated Polyester Resins catalysts and/or polyester accelerators manufactured by The Shepherd Chemical Company are used widely in a variety of applications. Cobalt promoters in particular, including Cobalt 21, accelerate the decomposition of organic peroxide catalysts and promote cross-linking of polyester resins.
