Shepherd Chemical Announces Growth Initiatives for 2020

With significant investments in the capacity and capability of the company, Shepherd Chemical is committed in 2020 to delivering on global growth opportunities with our strategic partners.

Long-term partnerships and alliances with customers who value Shepherd’s metal chemistry know how, global supply chain management and excellent customer service have created exciting opportunities for growth.  Shepherd has expanded the capacity of its Mirecourt, France carboxylates plant by 50% with upgrades to critical plant utilities and the addition of a new hastelloy reactor.

In addition, Shepherd is expanding its Middletown, Ohio facility to improve space for office, team and customer collaboration and enhancing laboratory facilities to support growing demand for its core product lines.  A new kilo plant in Shepherd’s Norwood facility will give our R&D teams additional process prototyping and scale up assets for new product and process development.
